The Grace Mob is a community of passionate insurgents to combat judgement with tangible acts of radical, scandalous GRACE and LOVE.

We are GRACE in ACTION.

We’re raising our voices for the vulnerable.
We’re accepting the unacceptable.
And we are doing this through ACTION.

What We Do

Through tangible acts of grace via online and in our real life spheres of influence. An example of what we do; someone is being bullied with negative comments on their Facebook wall, we would come in and “mob” the comments with love. Or perhaps someone is a target of vulture-culture in a public way and they are being picked a part and feasted on, we come in and blast the site with positive messages of encouragement, hope and support.

How To Be Involved

Twitter: Follow the #gracemob hashtag to smash judgment, vulture-culture, hate and bullying through a reply to the individual who needs support. When you come across a mob opportunity via Twitter you just list it in 120+ characters with #gracemob so everyone can respond.

Facebook: Be aware of Grace Mob requests that will be listed on the People of the Second Chance Facebook wall. And if you come across a mob opportunity, you can share it directly on the wall or send a message. The community does not need context in order to dispense grace, we just need the action step. Keep requests simple to maximize the impact.

Email: A weekly email will be sent to all who “opt in”. This email will contain 1-2 mob requests along with Grace Mob information for the week.
