LABELS LIE CAMPAIGN
The campaign’s focus is on being liberated from the prison of societies’ labels. Sadly we live in a society driven by stereotyping, gossiping, labeling and blame. Words like ugly, stupid, adulterer, addict, illegal, failure, ex-con, slut, fag and other dehumanizing labels are thrown around with no regard for how they damage.
The campaign also addresses the toxic labels that we believe about ourselves. We don’t have to live with the shame of what people have said about us. We don’t have to accept these statements as our true identity.

NEVER BEYOND CAMPAIGN
In August of 2011, People of the Second Chance launched the NEVER BEYOND POSTER SERIES. This campaign is a collection of posters representing well known historical, current and fictional characters who have harmed society.
The campaign engages people with the question “Who Would You Give A Second Chance?” The artwork draws out themes of forgiveness, grace and what a pathway to a second chance looks like. It challenges our thinking about second chances and allows all of us to process our beliefs and values about grace.
The campaign consists of digital and selected print posters.
